      Dark and Light 4/9 Update - Patch Notes   04/10/2018

      Greetings Adventurers! On Tuesday, 4/10, a patch with our first round of bug fixes and optimizations will be released ~2AM PST. Be sure to check out all of all of the changes made to Dark and Light in the full patch notes below!
        Game Updates Optimized loading screen The loading bar will no longer be hidden when loading is stuck. We felt that optimization updates should also be included in the month of bug fixes/balance updates, and is something that we’re focused on going forward. Removed knowledge restriction on all spells and staffheads.  Adventurers no longer have to know a spell in order to use it. The only two exceptions to this rule are Telekinesis and Firestorm. Those are for Master Wizards only. Description text has been added to all harvestable resources to allow easy recognition. Optimized the visual effects for Rune of Restoration, Rune of Warmth, and Rune of Radiance. Bug Fixes Fixed a bug where Small Soul Suppression Stones were not working on Ice and Fire Imps. Fixed a bug where items placed in the three PvE experience workbenches would disappear after activation. Fixed a bug where the Qinaryss Gustclaw’s body would glitch on death. Fixed a bug where items in player customized inventory folders would disappear upon death. Fixed a issue where players were unable to dance at Bonfires. Fixed a bug where players would run into a collision issue at the entrance of Blackice Peaks cause their Adventurer to float.

  1. Cool. i was having issues getting this clear becauser the weaponsmith atm is called blacksmith too. The vendor in the villages should be tailor and not armourer as it is now too. Soo i couldnt figure if it was the weaponsmith or a new vendor. Hope other races can access that end game content too soon
  2. Soo Elves have a duplicate vendor in the village, (not intended probably), and a new vendor at city that sells armor. That new armor seller is missing in Humans and Dwarves. I think is this.

  4. what vendor sells armor gear? Like darkstone, mithril, ranger tunic, etc? Is it the same that sell weapons? Because i know elves have that
  5. I want to give my feedback and a suggestion to improve a feature implemented. First lets talk about the Air Gear. Im comparation to the other sets, the air set seems really poor. The fire and air gear have two resistances wich one, one elemental resistance and one survival resistance. Soo the air gear could give you resistance to earth magic, and could have a survival feature too, like incresing your carring capacity, or reduced fall damage. I prefer the reduced fall damage because we can forge pants to gain weight. Note: atm fall damage can be nulify by rolling when you hit the ground. I think this should be fixed. The second suggestion is to chance the way you can use the new feature implemented, being able to glide. Alot of adventurers like to make customs sets, with pieces of different gears, soo they can adapt the resistances and perks to the meta or situations. That said, having the restriction of the full set to be able to glide, is a really bad idea. It conditions our customizations and options and punishes the sandbox and freedom aspect this game offers. That said, i think the boss wings could be a lootable, that you could enchant to any piece of chest gear you want, but like one time enchant, not attach like in Ark. This flexibility would improve the game. Its would fit the current character build and growth system. For example lets imagine in the future you guys implement a spider cave, and the complete set makes you be able to shoot webs, like the grappling hook of Ark. Again that ability could be a lootable that we could enchant to any gloves, soo we could add to our fully customized, grown character. Keep empowering the character, makes us value and farm the player character more, and its way healthier than stacking thousands of tames.

  9. The current FOV mounted gives me mixed feelings, but either i like it or not, i cant lower it because on foot i play with FOV maxed and i like it. Soo suggestion would be tune the on foot FOV to have the same range as mounted, soo players can set it like they want, and be the same always. I think alot of people like and would like the same amount of FOV on foot because mmorpg background. EDIT: Or in the future gives us a setting for mounted FOV.
  10. No, thats marketing strategy. No new players in this game, soo why not make the current players buy a second pc and a second account to stay in render all time to be able to craft something. Thats actually genius! Alot of players have a second account already to work around that and evolving myticals. Im atm avoiding some content because i cant sit for hours waiting stuff to craft. Example, goblin contracts and gizmos. Hope its not intended at all, because i dont want to tame creatures that only work when the boss is around. I want to tame creatures that proudly work for themselves.
  11. @Erebus EU Knight 58 is down makes now 6, 7 hours, duo to ddos or forced crash. Any idea when it will be up again ? Props to the aggresive aproach to exploiters. DnL might have a small player base now but seems very loyal and deserves that

  14. Snail should be the ones to freeze and shutdown all the servers until this issues get fixed, if they dont intend to punish the aggressor. Being afraid to get ddos, and still lose the players, because cowardy, is way worse
